eGetgoing was
created as a sister company of The Camp Recovery Centers to provide an online
adjunct to traditional chemical dependency treatment in residential or
outpatient facilities. An estimated 24 million people in the United States are
in need of chemical dependency treatment. Only 1.2 million of these people
actually receive treatment each year. With an online treatment program based on
traditional treatment programs, eGetgoing provides a means of extending
treatment to those otherwise unable to participate.
Challenge: Create an online chemical dependency solution that brings the
richness and depth of residential chemical dependency treatment to a broader
population.
Solution: Designed, developed and deployed an online version of patient
treatment tracking within seven months of initial funding. Product was featured
on CNN.com and has won the eHealthcare Gold Award for Best Clinician-Focused
Site two years in a row. Features of system include:
